Delicious! This owner has two restaurants. There is a breakfast and lunch restaurant on the street level and the dinner restaurant is located right upstairs. It's a beautifully built open air space. Jazz music plays softly in the background, providing a very pleasant backdrop. Delicious steak, the best we've had in Barra. We will be back to try the rest of the menu. Open all year long! This is great addition to Barra's cullenary delights!
Have only had dinner, can’t comment on breakfast. Dinners are excellent. Best Margaritas in Barra. Chef/owner Augustine is so friendly and takes pride in his service. Very talented musicians play upstairs. We ate three times in 10 days and were never disappointed. They have fish, chicken, beef and pasta choices. Great wood fired pizza too.
We absolutely love the dining experience! Our dinners here have been superb. I tried their Angus filet mignon tonight, (usually I get the less expensive one) and Wow! You get what you pay for. Probably one of the best steaks that I have had in years! Love their saffron shrimp and salmon with a creamy caper sauce as well. Tuesdays they have the jazz band Chido Rivera playing. Great ambience and great waitstaff. Highly recommend!
Honestly a solid place to eat breakfast. The food came at a decent time, service was great, and affordable! You can see the food being made from the kitchen, and the bread was incredibly fresh!
We had a group supper, no reservation they welcomed us especially when our group was 11. The pizza was amazing, definitely recommend. In pesos with drink
First time in Barra, we look forward having breakfast at Mokeke, the coffee's and fresh green juice are outstanding. The owners and employees are super friendly and courteous. Omelets are very tasty.
We had dinner here and both dishes were excellent. The Tuna in Sesame Ginger Sauce and the Chicken Parmassan. Nice band playing jazz here as well. They were good but a little bit loud for the table we sat at. Good attentive service too.
Went here for breakfast. It was the best breakfast we had in our 8 days here. Service was fantastic, extremely nice guy. Food came out fast. It will be hard for me to eat breakfast anywhere else, while in Barra. Excepts credit card and waiter knew English.
